Rune Lacer

You are a wizard who stumbled upon an endless dungeon. Defeat monsters by decrypting all of their runes with your wand. Once you master the art of drawing runes, delve deeper into the dungeon. Be wary though, enemies will get stronger. 

This game features patter recognition, procedural generation, and two forms of movement to choose from.

To begin, I wanted to create a procedural roguelike game. However, due to time constraints I feel like I wasn't able to take this game past a very polished prototype. There are a lot of things I wanted to add that I mentioned in my pitch, but just did not have the time to work them into the game. This includes: the story, more collectibles, more interesting rooms, higher replayability value, to name a few. I spent a lot of time creating the tech for the game and making it all work together which I am proud of. I think the game is very cool, but it definitely has room to evolve in the game play department.
